Genevieve Jacobs AM, GAICD is a journalist working at the cutting edge of digital media. Her 30 year career includes a decade with ABC Radio Canberra as Mornings presenter and she is now group editor for Region Media, Australia's fastest growing independent media platform.

She chairs the ACT arts minister's Creative Council, co-chairs the ACT Reconciliation Council and also sits on the Cultural Facilities Corporation board and a number of other arts and social justice advisory bodies. In 2021, she was awarded an AM in the Australia Day honours list for her services to broadcasting and the community.

Genevieve is a passionate story-teller who grasps issues rapidly and utilises her professional interviewing skills with warmth and intelligence. She has an ongoing interest in strengthening community engagement.
